Before the invention of metal nibs, people wrote with feather quills. I liked the thought of flipping that around: giving birds the tools we made from them. I imagined birds picking up shiny nibs—drawn to the glint with nibs in their beaks, ready to write their own songs and stories.
Techniques: Etching and aquatint

Printed using sepia oil-based ink on 300gsm Hahnemuhle Copperplate with deckled edges
Each print is handmade, inked, and pressed individually, making every piece unique.
